The Long Weekend: reframing the chaos

Alice Springs is the backdrop for a fascinating new graphic novel that gives a ‘depth psychology’ take on how cultures affect lives and relationships in Central Australia. In a post a couple of days ago Craig San Roque described  Alice Springs as a “mongrel town”, a description that I suspect holds a mixture of affection and exasperation for him.
